Here at Dale Podiatry Clinic, you will not be rushed – you are at the centre of your care at all times. Time is devoted to your treatment, options are discussed with you and clear and full explanations about any proposed treatments are always given.
Chiropody Services
A full range of general chiropody care is offered, including:
- Treatments for corns & callus
- Heel & sole pain advice & therapy
- Management of foot infections such as athlete's foot
- Expert care for the higher risk patient (eg: those with diabetes or vascular disease) Nail problems, such as ingrown, fungal or thick nails
- Nail surgery – partial or total removal of problem nails under local anaesthetic
- Advice and treatments for children's foot conditions
- Biomechanical assessments & gait analysis
- Manufacture of orthotics & bespoke insoles
Reflexology
The clinic also offers reflexology treatment with ITEC qualified Alison Jones.
This therapy can be useful as an adjunct to the treatment of long-term conditions such as pain management, arthritis, disorders of the digestive & cardiovascular systems and hormonal disturbance, for example. Please contact the clinic for more details.
In line with our desire to treat the whole person, we also offer a number of investigations such as microscopy of nail and dermal (skin) samples, blood pressure monitoring and blood glucose testing.
